Brian Jungen

Brian Jungen has been celebrated for transforming basic consumer items into evocative objects, rich with humor and meaning. A member of the Doig River band of the Dunne-za Nation, he uses unexpected materials to challenge the influence ethnography has in forming cultural identity. The first survey of his work, the book features essays from respected curators, plus an interview with the artist himself, which set his work in context.
