Things are heating up — the end of the world is nigh! Just when it looks like all hope is lost, an asteroid hurtling in the direction of earth flies by without the major collision everyone had feared. However, part of the asteroid plummets into the Arctic Ocean. An international scientific expedition is set up to search for this meteorite. Tintin and Snowy set off aboard the Aurora, with Captain Haddock at the helm. An international race is on to find the meteorite!
Much to our heroes’ chagrin, the rival expedition is backed by a sinister character who has no intention of losing the race. Who will be the first to reach the meteorite?
