Arnie's day is not going according to plan. The welding equipment at work is not cooperating, and he's going to be late for the knitting class he teaches at the local GLBT Center. His day improves when his client turns out to be Crispin, a professor at a local college and one of his students. Crispin invites him for dinner after class and offers to show him his mittens, the first things he ever knit. Arnie's not sure if that's code for something more or not, but he's willing to take the chance and find out.
