Blurb
Sex, blood and rock n' roll
"When indie rock journalist Nick Landry pursues the elusive singer of The Muses, a mysterious woman known only as Blue, he eventually uncovers the band's dark secret: they are vampires.

Recent fame, however, leads to other complications for the band. Dimitri, an ancient vampire from guitarist Christian's past, returns to ""play the game"" again; and, if that wasn't enough, there's a new vampire hunter in town, hell bent on revenge. In the final showdown, who will emerge from the battle undead...?"

Excerpt

"Jamie lifted his head from Michael’s shoulder, grinning at their manager. “You wanna join us, Elliot?”

Elliot crossed his arms in front of his chest, feigning impatience, although he really did want to join them, in more than one sense of the word. Even though Christian had promised to turn him into a vampire some day, Elliot knew that Jamie was just teasing him. They weren’t going to bite him, injecting the venom into his veins that would cause him to become one of them, at least not anytime soon. They needed someone who could move about freely in the daylight, without slapping on a mile-thick layer of sunscreen and all the necessary accoutrements – hats, scarves and sunglasses – and that person was him. He was their Renfield. “You’re on in an hour,” he told them. “Get ready.”

They all remained where they were, still smoking. Elliot’s eye fell on Blue, who was holding a Marlboro in one hand, the other twirling Michael’s hair around her fingers. She felt his gaze on her and gave him a challenging stare. His face flushing, he dropped his gaze. If he became one of them, would he enjoy their orgies? He wasn’t gay, but then he knew that both Jamie and Christian had been straight during their human lives. He wasn’t sure about Michael, the most effeminate of the foursome. But words like “gay” and “straight” seemed to have no meaning for these creatures. They were beautiful, immoral and in love with themselves.

How he wanted to be one of them. "
