Tony is a British virologist monitoring what he thinks is a local outbreak in the Philippines. He wasn't expecting to find himself at the beginning of a global pandemic that will leave him stranded a long way from home. Now he's trying to gather information the world can use to protect itself. He has a solid understanding of immunity to a virus, but he's about to learn that immunity can be as behavioural as cellular.
