Dick Grayson was the first to don the mask and colourful costume of the Boy Wonder. Left an orphan by a mobster’s machinations, he was taken under the wing of Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne, who trained him to become his acrobatic partner in crime-fighting, Robin. Grayson’s first patrols beside the Dark Knight, over the rooftops of Gotham City, would prove to be a baptism of fire.
