In a post-apocalyptic world after the Dark Wars that wiped out billions, science and technology are still making advancements. Synthetic androids, hover-cars, virtual assistants, micro-drones, and even secret war machines are only a few everyday things found in the Haunted (what is left of the United States).
The cyberpunk post-apocalyptic dystopian series continues where it left off. Vincent is currently in the hospital with a new cybernetic bionic hand to replace his amputated one that he lost during a major gunfight. Helena is nearby watching over him while he is still unconscious. Naomi is comfortably settling into her new residence and identity with Vanessa. She hasn't had any recent incidences in Habitat Eleven (New Texas) of being pulled from her time, world, reality into another.
Shadowy forces are still afoot, creating havoc and watching/listening. President Supreme Stanson is still ruling the Haunted for life, which might be longer than many expect with the help of Stephen Cox (a scientist that has extended his own life replacing most of his body with cybernetic parts).
