In 1935, H.P. Lovecraft wrote a round robin story with four other authors, C.L. Moore, Robert E. Howard, A. Merritt, and Frank Belknap Long. The story was titled “The Challenge From Beyond,” and was published in the September 1935 issue of Fantasy Magazine. Recently, the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival has revived the Challenge with modern writers of Eldritch Horror. This is the sixth offering, published during the Festival’s first virtual convention in 2020.
