Caroline's best friend Ira had suddenly died, leaving her as one of the guardians of her 11 years old daughter Adelle. Just as she thinks things could not get any worst, Ira’s brother Christopher comes into town claiming that Adelle should move with him to the other side of the country and takes her to court.
